Trust Litigation

Trust Litigation involves disputes concerning the creation or administration of a trust.

We represent trustees and beneficiaries in resolving disputes over the establishment and administration of trusts.

A trust is a fiduciary arrangement which allows a third party, known as the trustee, to hold assets on behalf of a beneficiary. Trusts are often created to provide for a minor; to provide oversight and protection for a beneficiary who is not able to manage money; to plan for incapacity; or to provide tax benefits, creditor protection, and privacy. Trust disputes often arise when a beneficiary has a concern with the trustee, the terms of the trust agreement or the creation of the trust altogether. Whether your trust or your loved one’s trust is being poorly managed and administered, your trustee has abused their position or, as a trustee, you’ve been accused of mishandling a trust, you can rely on us to explain your options and vigorously work toward your goal.
